2011 IndyCar Oval Course Race Car

This casting reproduces the Dallara IR-05, the open-wheel chassis used across the 2011 IndyCar season — the last year for that conventional-looking design before IndyCar moved to a new chassis. A special edition carrying driver Dan Wheldon's paint scheme followed his death during the 2011 season finale, and Hot Wheels marked the next season's start with a tribute DW-1 release in the 2012 New Models lineup.
