'57 T-Bird

Co-designed by Larry Wood and Bob Rosas, the '57 T-Bird first appeared in 1978 as part of the Flying Colors series wearing a red, white, and blue patriotic scheme, and this Flamethrower Series release carries toy number 15223 into 1996. The casting originally featured a porthole window in the hardtop roof to mirror the real car's optional feature, which was dropped for cost reasons before later being reinstated on subsequent runs.
