'63 Split Window Corvette

This casting, designed by Larry Wood and based on the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe, first appeared in 1980 as part of the HiRakers series before being retooled twice, in 1987 and again in 1995. Over the decades it has been marketed under a long list of names, including Split Window '63, '63 Corvette, '63 Stingray and Corvette Split Window. This 1996 mainline release (toy #13874), styled as the '63 Split Window Corvette, comes from the casting's 1995-2019 second-retool era.
