'69 Ford Torino Talladega
The real Torino Talladega was a homologation special built for barely two months in early 1969 so Ford could race in NASCAR, and it's considered the first of the 'Aero Warriors' — cars built specifically to chase speed on the superspeedways. Powered by a 428ci Cobra Jet V8, it won 29 Grand National races before NASCAR effectively banned aero cars like it in 1970. This casting has appeared in several vintage-racing liveries since.
