'80's Corvette

This Larry Wood casting is modeled on the planned 1983 Chevrolet Corvette, a model year Chevrolet ultimately never sold to the public; of the 43 prototype and pre-production cars built through September 1982, only one survives, now on permanent display at the National Corvette Museum, as GM instead resumed Corvette production in January 1983 selling those cars as early 1984 models.
