'80s Camaro

The '80s Camaro shares its tooling with Larry Wood's Blown Camaro casting, which debuted in 1984 as a modified 1983 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 fitted with a supercharged engine, side exhaust pipes and a sunroof. In 1992 the casting was retooled into a plain-bodied stocker without the blower or sunroof and reissued under the '80s Camaro name, later also appearing as the '80 Camaro Z28 and Camaro Z28. This 1996 Splatter Paint Series example (toy #15256) uses that revised, blower-less body.
