Alive '55

Alive '55, later renamed '55 Nomad and then Classic Nomad, is Ira Gilford's take on a hopped-up 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad wagon fitted with a 409 V8, a 700-R4 transmission, and fanciful turbo jump jets. The casting debuted with Redline cap wheels, a clear window piece, and an unpainted metal base, and was later retooled in 1977 to remove the opening hood before that feature returned in a 1993 retool. It went on to appear on-screen in the Hot Wheels: World Race and AcceleRacers films, driven by the character Lani Tam.
