American Hauler

American Hauler was designed by Larry Wood for the 1976 Flying Colors lineup, riding on a lengthened version of the base and cab first used on the Road King Truck, a base it shared with its sibling casting, the American Tipper. The tooling was later reused without special attachments for the Movin' On casting, then stretched further with a third axle and a new freight box to become the original 1980 Hiway Hauler.
