Designed by Phil Riehlman as a tribute to eight-legged creatures, this jet-powered hot rod's name blends 'arachnid' and 'hot rod.' It debuted in the 2000 First Editions; an unrelated, earlier casting of the same name had already run once in the 1994 Color FX Monster Models series.
