Auburn 852

The Auburn 852 casting, designed by Larry Wood, recreates the 1934 Auburn 851/852 boattail speedster and debuted in 1979 as part of the Oldies But Goodies series, initially issued in red. This 1996 Treasure Hunts release (toy #15083) was one of the harder-to-find short-run colorways Hot Wheels issued that year for the casting.
