Beatnik Bandit
Beatnik Bandit, part of Harry Bradley's work on the 1968 Original 16, replicates Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's 1960 custom show car of the same name, built on a shortened 1950 Oldsmobile chassis with a fiberglass body and a bubble canopy that doubles as both roof and door; the real car survives on permanent display at the National Automobile Museum in Reno. USA and Hong Kong production differ in engine detail, with US castings showing dual injectors and Hong Kong versions a top-mounted blower. The casting was revived starting in 1993 and has seen numerous re-releases since.
