Blazer 4X4

Designed by Larry Wood, the Blazer 4x4 casting depicts a Chevrolet Blazer and ran from 1984 to 1996 with opening doors, a solid cast roof, and a ZAMAC base on most releases. It made a limited comeback in 2004 as part of 'The Lost Cars of China' series, capped at 12,500 units, before a more substantial 2016 retool cast the doors shut and turned part of the roof into glass, at which point later releases were renamed Chevy Blazer 4x4. Along the way it appeared in the 1988 Dinosaur Mud Pit set, the 1993 25th Anniversary Chevy 5-Pack, and more recently the 2018 100 Years of Chevy Trucks and 2023 Mud Runners collections.
