Blimp
First released in 1991 as the Goodyear Blimp, this Larry Wood-designed casting proved popular enough as a promotional vehicle to be reissued under various names, including Flyin' Aces Blimp and Fuji Blimp in 1995 and simply Blimp from 1994 onward. Its signature gimmick is a hand-rotatable tail section that flips between two printed messages, revealing "HI MOM" on one side before switching to the current Hot Wheels logo. It reached Treasure Hunt status in 1997 and remained in the lineup through 2008.
