BMW 850i

Sculpted by Larry Wood, this casting depicts BMW's E31-generation 850i grand touring coupe and joined the Hot Wheels mainline in 1991, staying in rotation through 2001. Early releases carried a colorful pinstripe and multicolor graphics treatment across the hood and sides, and the model also turned up in a Getty gas-station promotional giveaway in 1992. It was produced with a variety of wheel types, including early Ultra Hot Wheels and basic wheel variants, mostly cast in Malaysia.
