BMW M1

This casting reproduces the BMW M1, the mid-engined supercar BMW built in the late 1970s and early 1980s with an Italdesign-penned body, and it holds the distinction of being Hot Wheels' first-ever BMW casting. It entered the lineup as part of the 1996 mainline, opening the door for the brand's later expansion into additional licensed BMW models.
