Breakaway Bucket
Breakaway Bucket was a one-year-only 1974 Flying Colors release by Larry Wood, styled as a coupe-utility whose front end closely resembles the first-generation Pontiac Grand Am, years before Pontiac itself experimented with a similar body style. The casting is believed to have been developed from an unreleased design called "Dream Wagon." It sat dormant for decades until Mattel retooled it in 2011 for the HotWheelsCollectors.com Neo-Classics line, dropping the original's textured grille.
