Camaro Z28
The 1996-issue Camaro Z28, designed by Larry Wood, depicts the third-generation Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 built from 1978 to 1981 and actually reuses tooling derived from the earlier Cookin' Camaro casting from Mattel's Scorchers line. Because of that shared origin the model has no separate interior piece, with its window glass typically blacked out or heavily tinted to hide the empty cabin. Early production runs of the casting famously misspelled the base lettering as "Camro Z-28" before the error was corrected, and the tool later gained a plastic base during a 2007 update.
