CAT Dump Truck

The CAT Dump Truck casting was designed by Larry Wood for the Workhorses series and is modeled on the Caterpillar 777B mining dump truck of the 1980s. The same tooling was later reused by Mattel's Matchbox brand, appearing simply as 'Truck' in the 1997 Dirt Machines series. This 1996 Silver Series II release (toy #15268) carries the CAT branding and silver-chrome treatment typical of that series.
