Chevy Stocker
This is the 1997 Chevy Stocker casting, sometimes nicknamed the 'Huffman Stocker' among collectors, built with molded-on door details and flared fenders over Hot Wheels' standard stock-car chassis. It's a separate tooling from the earlier Larry Wood-designed 1989 Chevy Stocker based on the Monte Carlo Aerocoupe. Thanks to its short wheelbase and metal-on-metal construction, this casting became prized in the downhill die-cast racing scene, at one point commanding $50-75 among collectors in Puerto Rico. It appeared in the 1997 Quicksilver Series.
