Chief's Special

Chief's Special reuses the tooling introduced as the 1973 Police Cruiser, a Larry Wood casting loosely based on the Olds 442, repainted red starting in 1975 to resemble a fire chief's cruiser rather than a standard patrol car. Like the original Police Cruiser tooling, it later lost its roof-mounted siren around 1977-1978 in favor of a headlamp similar to the Staff Car and Maxi Taxi castings, before the siren returned on a 2007-2009 retool.
