Classic '31 Ford Woody

Classic '31 Ford Woody, designed by Ira Gilford for the 1969 Hot Wheels lineup, was produced only in the USA and can be found with either a smooth or a wrinkle-finish roof, the smooth version being the earlier variant. It gained pop-culture visibility beyond the toy aisle, appearing on a 1970 Jack in the Box promotional cup, on the cover of the May/June 1970 Hot Wheels comic book, and on-screen in the Hot Wheels television series. The tooling was retooled once, in 2012.
