Cool One

Cool One was designed by Larry Wood and released in the 1976 Flying Colors series as one half of a dragster pairing with the Inferno, the two castings being essentially identical apart from their names and graphics, in the tradition of earlier paired releases like Snake and Mongoose. The casting stayed in the lineup from 1976 through 1978, including an appearance in the 1978 Drag Strippers series, and is a separate tooling from the unrelated ice-cream-truck casting that would later reuse the Cool-One name in 2004.
