Built on the earlier Corvette Grand Sport casting and retooled in 2019, this model's original livery echoes a Roger Penske Chevrolet-raced Corvette, though the real car it visually matches was actually a coupe rather than a roadster. It traces back to the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport, a five-example homologation special designed by Zora Arkus-Duntov for international GT racing.
