Corvette Stingray

This casting depicts a mid-1970s third-generation Corvette Stingray, the generation styled after the Mako Shark II show car and built from 1968 through 1982. It shares a family resemblance with Hot Wheels' later Corvette Stingray casting based on the 1980s-era car, and a lifted 4x4 variant of this tooling was later issued as the Monster Vette. This example appeared in the 1997 Street Beast Series.
