Crunch Chief

Crunch Chief uses the Chevy Stocker casting designed by Larry Wood, modeled on the 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Aerocoupe, a homologation special of which Chevrolet built just 200 examples to qualify the aerodynamic body for NASCAR competition. True to its racing inspiration, the diecast depicts welded-shut doors, a roll cage, a stripped interior and reinforced window bars. This 1996 Fast Food Series release (toy #15266) predates the casting's later 1990s retool, which saw limited additional mainline use in 1997.
