Custom Camaro holds the distinction of being the very first Hot Wheels casting to leave the drawing board and reach production, sketched by Harry Bradley for the 1968 debut lineup. A handful of unpainted enamel-white factory test shells escaped into circulation by mistake, making them among the rarest Hot Wheels ever found today. Brendon Vetuskey retooled the casting in 2018 for a modern re-release, decades after the original tool was retired.
