Custom Corvette

Custom Corvette, one of the Original 16 castings from 1968, was designed by Harry Bradley based on the then-unreleased 1968 Corvette Stingray; as the story goes, Bradley's recent stint at GM gave him early access to the car's styling before it reached showrooms, so the toy actually beat the real Corvette to public reveal. USA and Hong Kong tooling runs are distinguished by glass tint, steering wheel placement, and how the rear of the body meets the base. Mark Jones retooled the casting in 2005.
