Custom Mustang

Custom Mustang was one of Harry Bradley's contributions to the founding Original 16 lineup of 1968, styled after the 1967 Ford Mustang fastback. The original tooling saw use only through 1968, then sat dormant until Mattel recreated it in 1994 for Vintage Series II, and it has resurfaced periodically since. USA-made examples are distinguished from their Hong Kong counterparts by details like glass tint and interior molding, typical of the redline-era castings from this batch.
