Custom Volkswagen

Custom Volkswagen, credited to designers Ira Gilford and Harry Bradley, reimagines the Volkswagen Beetle for the 1968 Original 16 lineup with a fictional blown V8 stuffed under the trunk lid rather than the real car's rear-mounted flat engine. It was popular enough to appear as a premium on a Jack in the Box drinking cup in 1970. Brendon Vetuskey retooled the casting in 2005 for later re-releases.
