Datsun 620 | (2nd Color)

This casting is modeled on former Hot Wheels designer Jun Imai's own truck, based on the Datsun 620, a compact pickup Nissan built from 1972 to 1979. Imai, who worked at Mattel from 2004 to 2018, became especially known for translating his personal Japanese cars into castings like this one.
