Dragster

The Dragster is an original Hot Wheels design credited to Larry Wood, first introduced in 1994 under the name 'Driven To The Max' before also being sold in limited runs as the Mongoose Dragster and Snake Dragster. It features an unpainted metal base and a sleek rail-dragster profile, initially running on Regular BW rear wheels paired with MGW fronts before later switching to 5-spoke wheels. It appeared in the 1995 Racing Metals Series in chrome, the 1996 M&D Toys Mongoose-and-Snake limited editions, and a 2006 set tied to the Shirley Muldowney tribute DVD Heart Like a Wheel.
