Ferrari 312P
Ferrari 312P, an Ira Gilford casting introduced in 1970, is based on Ferrari's open-cockpit 3-liter sports prototype racer, though Mattel kept the windshield the real car eventually lost. Hong Kong production runs were cast from three distinct door-line variations -- normal, half, and raised -- generally believed to reflect sequential mold updates, and cars carried a round Ferrari-logo sticker and a metal Collector's Button. Faded green examples are often mistaken for the genuinely rare Spectraflame Aqua color.
