Ferrari F50 Spider

This Michael Kollins casting for 1996 First Editions depicts the Ferrari F50 with its removable roof off. The real F50, styled by Lorenzo Ramaciotti and Pietro Camardella and built as Ferrari's flagship successor to the F40, used a 4.7-liter V12 derived from the marque's Formula One program to make 512 horsepower, with only 349 examples produced between 1995 and 1997. Though officially named simply the Ferrari F50 on its packaging, the toy is noticeably larger than the later F50-based Ferrari F50 Challenge casting, also sculpted by Kollins.
