Fire Eater

Fire Eater, officially styled Fire-Eater, was designed by Larry Wood and first released in 1977, drawing its cab-over-engine shape from American fire trucks of that decade. It has stayed in near-continuous production for more than four decades, making it one of Hot Wheels' most enduring fantasy vehicles, and in 2021 the tooling was updated so the front fascia became part of the plastic base rather than the body. This 1996 Fire Squad Series release (toy #15276) predates that 2021 revision.
