GMC Motorhome
The GMC Motorhome casting was co-developed by Bob Rosas and Larry Wood, who secured GMC's cooperation and factory blueprints to sculpt an accurate miniature, trimming roughly ten scale feet from the midsection to keep proportions right for 1:64. GMC was reportedly given about 30 gold-plated examples for its own sales staff, and those promotional pieces are now scarce collector items. The casting debuted in the 1977 Truckin' Machines Redline 6-pack before joining the Flying Colors lineup, and it has since resurfaced under names like Airport Transportation and Captain America Van, plus a 2009 Treasure Hunt release.
