Heavy Chevy
Designed by Ira Gilford, Heavy Chevy is based on the '68 Camaro and debuted in the 1970 Spoilers series, one of Hot Wheels' earliest attempts at grouping castings into a themed sub-line of cars with exposed engines and no hoods. It returned in 1974's Flying Colors and the 1976-77 Super Chromes lines before going dormant, and was revived in 2002 with new tooling for the HWC.com club series.
