Ice 'T'

Ice 'T' began life as a Tom Daniel design for Monogram model kits before Larry Wood adapted it to 1:64 scale for the 1971 Hot Wheels lineup, originally issued only in Enamel Yellow with blue plastic ice bricks and an opening tailgate. Some 1971 examples are prone to a metal-fatigue condition collectors call 'crumbling.' The casting returned in 1973 without the ice bricks, again in the 1974 Flying Colors series with green-and-orange tampos, and was retooled once more in 2010 for the HotWheelsCollectors.com Neo Classics.
