Lamborghini Diablo
This casting reproduces the Lamborghini Diablo, the mid-engined flagship Lamborghini built from 1990 to 2001 as successor to the Countach, designed by Tom Gale and powered by a 5.7-liter L522 V12 paired with a 5-speed manual. Named, per Lamborghini tradition, after a fighting bull rather than literally the Spanish word for devil, the real car received a 1997 facelift by Luc Donckerwolke before giving way to the Murciélago. Hot Wheels' version debuted in 1991 in red on UH wheels, followed by color-changing Revealers variants in 1992-93 and a black 25th Anniversary Exotic 5-Pack release in 1993.
