Large Charge

Large Charge was penned by veteran Hot Wheels designer Larry Wood for the 1975 Flying Colors lineup and cast exclusively in Hong Kong. Its wedge-shaped profile echoes the Italian exotics of the era, dressed up with printed-circuitry graphics and oversized capacitor detailing at the rear to sell the idea of an electric-powered concept car. The tooling stayed in rotation for years under new identities, resurfacing as Silver Bullet in 1985 and finally as Aeroflash for the 1992 Gleam Team series.
