Lumina Stocker
The Lumina Stocker, sculpted by Larry Wood, reproduces a Chevrolet Lumina NASCAR stock car; the real Lumina began racing in 1989 as a replacement for the Monte Carlo. The casting is essentially a modified Pontiac Stocker with its grille removed and smoothed and the front bumper extended, and it was originally meant to launch in 1994 as the No Fear Race Car before that name went instead to an open-wheel casting (later released as Hot Wheels 500); this Lumina tooling appeared a year later, in 1995 only, as part of the Race Team Series.
