Mini Truck

Larry Wood designed the Mini Truck, which debuted in 1990 as a customized pickup with a hood cutout exposing a mounted sound system in the bed. Its rear plate is cast to read 'TRUCK,' one of the small design touches typical of Wood's work. The casting was eventually renamed Sonic Special before being retired in 2004, and in 2019 Hot Wheels paid tribute to it with a Custom '93 Nissan Hardbody (D21) carrying the original 1990 graphics. This copy comes from the 1997 Biff! Bam! Boom! Series.
