Old Number 5

Designed by Larry Wood, Old Number 5 recreates a 1920s Ahrens-Fox fire engine, the type of piston-pump apparatus that replaced horse-drawn steamers in American fire departments. It debuted in the 1981 mainline and stayed in the catalog for over two decades, appearing in Holiday-themed and Hall of Fame releases before its final outing in a 2003 Target-exclusive tin set.
