Oshkosh Snowplow
Designed by Larry Wood, this casting reproduces an Oshkosh P-series snow blower powered by an 11.9-liter engine rated at roughly 450 horsepower, distinguished by its detachable snow-plow attachment. It debuted in 1984 as part of Hot Wheels Extras with an all-metal cab and bed before moving to the Workhorses series in 1985 and the mainline in 1990, at which point the metal cab was swapped for plastic. The plow attachment itself was dropped from most releases starting in 1997, apart from the 1999 edition, before being reinstated with a gray plow in the 1998 mainline release.
