Peterbilt Dump Truck

The Peterbilt Dump Truck shares its cab tooling with several other commercial-vehicle castings, including Hammer Down, the Peterbilt cement mixer, and the Peterbilt tank truck, effectively repurposing the 1980 Hammer Down platform into a dump-bed configuration. It debuted in 1983 as part of the Extras series and stayed in near-continuous production for two decades, appearing in the Workhorses series, mainline runs through the late 1990s, and the 1995 Real Riders series. All versions use a ZAMAC base with clear windows and black interiors, with dump-bed colors and tampo graphics such as 'Road Dept.' varying across releases.
