Police Cruiser (1996)

This Police Cruiser casting started life in 1991 as an unmarked civilian version of the Holden Commodore before Hot Wheels revived it in 1996 with a separate plastic light bar plugged into a new hole cast into the roof. The body most closely follows the Holden Special Vehicles VN ClubSport, complete with 'SV' door graphics and the more aggressive front-end styling of that Australian performance variant. Oddly for a car meant to read as American law enforcement, the base retains its original 1989 date stamp and a right-hand-drive steering wheel. It ran as part of the 1997 Heat Fleet Series.
