Pontiac Banshee

Pontiac built a series of low-slung Banshee concept cars beginning in the 1960s, and the fourth of these, unveiled in 1988 and known internally at GM as the Banshee IV, became the basis for this Hot Wheels casting. The wedge-shaped dream car never reached production but gained pop-culture visibility through appearances in Back to the Future Part II and Demolition Man. Hot Wheels issued the casting across several color schemes from 1989 through the mid-1990s, including runs in 1995 and 1996.

1996 Hot Wheels
