Porsche 911

Cataloged internally as P-911, this Larry Wood design debuted in the 1975 Flying Colors lineup and has been reissued over the decades under names including Porsche Carrera and Porsche 911 Turbo. Some of the earliest castings carried "PORSCHE CARRERA" and "PORSCHE" markings before Mattel later modified the tooling to address licensing concerns. The model remained a mainline staple for over two decades before being retired as part of the 2001 Final Run Series.
