Porsche 930

This Larry Wood casting for the Sports Car Series replicates the Porsche 911 Turbo, known internally as the 930, which served as Porsche's range-topping model from 1975 to 1989 and was built to satisfy Group 4 homologation rules. Power came from a turbocharged flat-six that grew from 3.0 to 3.3 liters partway through production, and roughly 21,600 were built in total. Porsche also offered a slant-nosed 'Flachbau' package on the 930 from 1986 that swapped the pop-up headlight fenders for a shape borrowed from the 935 race car, a rare and costly special order.
