Porsche 930

This Larry Wood casting represents the Porsche 930, the turbocharged flagship of the 911 range built from 1975 to 1989 to meet Group 4 homologation rules; its Typ 930/60 flat-six started at 3.0 liters before growing to 3.3 liters in 1978, and Porsche ultimately produced 21,589 examples. From 1986 buyers could special-order the 930 with the slope-nosed "Flachbau" aero package inspired by the Porsche 935, a rare and costly option limited to 948 cars. The Hot Wheels version debuted on mainline pegs in 1991 and was later revived as a retooled casting between 2012 and 2016.
