Power Pipes

Power Pipes, a Bruce Baur design for the 1995 Model Series, imagines a futuristic sports car whose two large air intakes behind the cockpit feed a turboshaft engine, drawing an obvious visual comparison to its stablemate Power Pistons. The casting was retooled in 2015 with smaller intakes and added surface detail, and it made an appearance in the Highway 35 anniversary event as car #05, driven by the fictional Felix Sharky of the Wave Rippers team.
